This week I have a really special announcement to make. Sometime in the next few months the girls and I are going to be moving to and opening up our own Liberty Horsemanship Ranch!

This is a dream come true. I am so so beyond grateful for this opportunity!

We are going to create a ranch designed with horse happiness and health as our top priority! I have many plans on how to give the horses maximum choice, safety, and freedom, fitting the layout around their needs and desires first and foremost. It will be designed for liberty living. 😀

I am so so excited and grateful for this project. I cannot wait to share it with those who visit and stay. I dream of this ranch becoming a really peaceful place for horses and humans alike. I hope to host many clinics, workshops, and retreats here in the future!

Here are a few “before” photos:

There is also a wild back mountain that seems to be calling for some wild ones… 😉

Thank you everyone who has helped make this dream a reality! Thank you everyone who believes in making the world a better place for horses! I hope to help our cause here <3

I know this is somewhat of a different type of blog post, so I would like to ask if anyone would be interested in more posts showing the evolution and describing what I am building for the horses as this project continues. Let me know in the comments if that interests you or not.

Thanks everyone for reading! I will have another horse post up next week!

Yes..your dreams resonate with me so much …I am so grateful to have purchased our own 12 acres 3 years ago in the Calaveras County foothills. The horses, dogs, & myself and husband are so happy here and we all live at Liberty. Well as much as one can on 12 acres. Hope your journey is as sweet as ours and I look forward to progress reports on your progress. ✌🏼️❤️🐴

I’m new to your website and just came across this page. I highly recommend the book, Paddock Paradise, A Guide to Natural Horse Boarding, by Jaime Jackson (farrier). Very interesting natural horse “keeping” philosophy. I like it because it mimics horses living free in the wild and helps keep them and their hooves healthy. I will be incorporating many of his ideas on my own 4 acre property I bought last year. Others (especially in Europe) have been moving in this direction if they have the room for it. And it is possible on smaller lots if you set it up right. There’s info online just google. His book goes into much detail too. But you can get the idea from the internet – FB and youtube – as well. I wish you the best in your new home!
